It was once said Bermuda was known as “The Easter Isle” for a million good reasons — that was the estimated size of the island’s annual crop of lilies when the industry was at its peak in the 1930’s – 1950’s. The Bud House property was at the center of this industry led by the present owners’ ancestors and the actual Bud House was originally one of the barns where the lily bulbs were packed for export. Now for guests to enjoy as an inviting and modern one-bedroom apartment with far reaching views over Harrington Sound. Maybe you can still smell the lingering perfume of lilies? Recently renovated, the accommodation consists of a spacious sitting room and open plan kitchen and dining area, equipped with everything you need for your stay, including a washer and dryer. The light and airy bedroom has a Queen size bed. There is also a full bathroom with large walk in shower. For a child there is a sleep sofa in the sitting room and in the bedroom is a bed chair also suitable for a child. You are welcome to use the lovely swimming pool and pool house between 9.00 a.m. – 5.00 p.m. by courtesy of the owner. There is also a dock on Harrington Sound which belongs to the house and guests are welcome to explore. Well-kept grassed areas surround the cottage with seating - so you can relax and take advantage of the extensive views. There are two Twizy chargers at the property.
