On your arrival at Blackburn Place you will immediately absorb the history of this beautifully restored period home. The oldest part of the house is believed to date from the 1750’s but it now perfectly balances period features and décor while embracing modern living. Wander the enchanting gardens, complimented with a Mediterranean style outside eating area and a lovely swimming pool. The delightful position is further enhanced by the fact that the Darrell’s Wharf ferry stop is directly opposite Blackburn place. A great way to travel into Hamilton where you can connect with the wider ferry service and the main bus station. As you enter the welcoming entrance hall, on your left you will find a charming sitting room decorated in restful pastel colours and an adjoining study. A formal dining room is the second reception room, characterized by wooden floors which you will find though out the house. A modern large eat in kitchen with central island is perfect for family get togethers or maybe spoil yourself with a private chef. All the five bedrooms are upstairs. The spacious principle bedroom has a feature fireplace, four poster bed, dressing area and a full bathroom with a tub and double walk in shower. The Twin-bedded bedroom also has an ensuite bathroom and the other three bedrooms share a large bathroom, two bedrooms have double/full beds and the last has two twin beds which can be a King and there is also a single trundle bed in the same room. Therefore, plenty of ‘sleeping options’ for guests to choose from. Additionally, if your party is larger than 9 then there is a ‘studio’ pool house which can be rented separately, which is completely self-contained and offers another Queen bed and bathroom. Included in the rate is electricity for short term stays, electricity sometimes paid by the guest for longer stays. WIFI included. Cleaning service before and after your stay and by arrangement for longer stays during the week.

Any booking taken after November 1st 2018 a 4.5% Vacation Rental Fee will be added, this will be 4.5% of the total rental ‘ nightly’ price.
